Finding love with DIY bazi reading

An example of locating day master and its spouse stars. Fire's spouse star is metal element.

It is such a great week with CNY coming and we also have Valentine’s day on 14th Feb. Most people would be in joyous mood celebrating the Dog year if not at least enjoy the long weekend.

So to suit the occasion today, I shall share some knowledge on relationship matters from bazi with you. You will get the chance to try see for yourself by looking at your own chart for relationship matters like how a fengshui master sees it by using 1 of the basic method. (You need to download or simply use any bazi calculator for this exercise from any app store or on website).

So after putting in your birth date and time, you should see your chart with your day master circled in blue. (see pic)
 
Once you locate your day master, check which of the 5 elements (Metal, Water, Wood, Fire or Earth) you belong to. Day master represents you in a bazi chart.

In relationship matters, a woman and a man’s representation for spouse element is different.

For man, refer to below elements to look for. 
E.g. If you are a Metal day master for man, look for Wood in your chart. This represents your spouse element.

Man's Spouse Star
Metal (you) -- Wood (spouse star)

Water -- Fire

Wood -- Earth

Fire -- Metal

Earth -- Water

You may notice the element which you as a day master control is the spouse star. This is because in ancient times, the wife is submissive to the man where he is the head of family being in control.

Inversely for woman, you should look for the element that controls you.
E.g. If you are a Metal day master for a woman, look for Fire in your chart. This represents your spouse element.

Woman's Spouse Star
Metal (you) -- Fire (spouse star)

Water -- Earth

Wood -- Metal

Fire -- Water

Earth -- Wood


And voila! Did you find any of your spouse element in your chart?

The above is just 1 of the first basic steps to pre-determine your spouse luck and affinity.
For those that did not find any of your spouse element, this is a first indication that in your life:
- few love relationship or none
- or that in the past, the relationship did not blossom and not last long

This is because without any spouse stars in your bazi chart, you effectively have lower odds to find your other half compared to your peers. Generally, the ideal chart would have just 1 or 2 spouse stars in your chart and is near your day master. Not withstanding any clashes, even if you maybe single now, your time will come.

Of course, then again, this is just 1 of the areas to analyse a chart (though significantly so to look at spouse luck). In bazi studies, there are various broad ways to analyse and look at subjects – some in more complex manner due to clash in your chart or other factors.

Those whom did not find any, fret not. There are still other ways to see if there is a chance you would meet your special other half.
