Mention of Zac Efron, most of us would be familiar with him with various movies he had over the years. From the buff-built hunk in Baywatch to the grandson with funny encounters in Dirty Grandpa and also starring in The Greatest Showman.

Now, however, being an eligible and good looking celebrity, you maybe surprise to know that he is not married till date. In fact, he has lamented in a talk show with Ellen DeGeneres that finding a mate is difficult. He even tried online dating on Tinder and shared no one swiped right on him!

It seem to go against the logic. Strangely. But after doing bazi reading for awhile though, this can really be indeed the case. A very eligible person can sometimes have such bazi where there are challenges in relationship. They just won’t have it easy.

​So let me welcome you to our new series called “Swiping Right on You”. I would be sharing up on a series of real life bazi case studies on relationship and love. The objective is simple - shed light on relationship matters through bazi. Is it a matter of time? Or one may just not have the luck in relationship imprinted in your bazi.

The series of case studies will take you into examining a person's bazi love luck through:

1. identifying yourself in your bazi
2. spouse element
3. spouse palace
4. luck pillar analysis for spouse element

Zac Efron's Bazi Chart
Basing on his birthdate, we have come up with his bazi chart to explore if there are any reasons behind his challenges in love life.

His Day Master and Spouse Element
In each bazi chart, there would be a “palace” (or a "box") where an element that sits in there which represent the person. In bazi lingo, we call it the day master. In his case, it is 庚 (boxed in black). This represent Zac Efron in his bazi.

To read on love luck, we would start with looking for the presence of spouse element and at the spouse palace.

In this example, the spouse element is represented by any presence of wood element. So you can tell there is the presence of a 卯 wood (circled in green) in the year pillar. This may deceptively appear to be a good sign.

So the question is, why is there challenges experienced in his love life?

1. The 卯 wood is hidden far away. (Yes, in bazi context, this is deem as far away)
2. Wood is weak in the autumn period.

In this case, spouse element is weak and less favourable. Hence I would grade it as a -1 point.

Spouse Palace Analysis
Apart from that, we also have a spouse palace (in red box). As there are no clashes to this palace, this is a good sign. In fact, as the chart is a strong chart, presence of water helps to weaken metal. This is based on the relationship of the 5 elements. So this is actually positive. In the spouse palace, it is therefore a +1 point.

​We can look to the luck pillar next. Luck pillar would serve to tell you what kind of luck one is ongoing through related to age.

Luck Pillar Analysis

Based on his current age of 34 this year, you can see that there were no encounter with any spouse luck (wood element) till date. Taking into consideration that he also has a rather weak bazi chart in terms of spouse luck, its no wonder Zac Efron has the challenge in his love life.

But fret not, if we look at the luck pillar of age 43, we can see that there is the appearance of 乙wood. Wood element as shared is the spouse luck. This is a positive sign and would likely mean that he may likely be finally getting married during this age period.
 
Would this really come true? As of present, it was reported that he is happily attached to Vanessa Valladares who is a model. It would be interesting to observe if he would finally be happily married during the coming of age reflected in his luck pillar.​

Recently, I saw the sad news of Bollywood star Irfan Khan whom had recently passed on. For anyone who may not be familiar with him, he appeared as the charismatic CEO and owner of the Jurrasic Park in Jurrasic World (2015) movie. He also starred in other Hollywood movies such as The Amazing Spiderman, Life of Pi and Slumdog Millionaire to name a few. What struck me was at the prime age he was at – age 53 when he passed on due to illness relating to Neuroendocrine tumor.
 
He announced of his illness back in 2018 and after two years of battle, he left. What I would like to share is some of the warning signs with the arrival of Fan Yin (反吟) and Fu Yin (伏吟) found in his chart.

As the image above shared, he entered into a Fu Yin (伏吟) luck pillar in 2016. This also means he is in the Fu Yin luck for 10 years from 2016 to 2026.

​What does Fu Yin mean or imply for a person having it?

What is Fan Yin and Fu Yin?

To give a basic understanding, both terminology can be explained as below.

​Fan Yin happens when there is an arrival of a pillar causing elemental clash. Depending on where the clash happen, it signals unfortunate events or can cause harm to the affected person or affect relationships.

"​Fu Yin" happens when its the exact same pillar appearing. 
It denotes a sad or tear event happening during that stage of your life.

Mostly, these are not exactly good to have in one's bazi chart. ​Only for some exception cases it may be of good omen.

During 2016, the luck pillar of 丙午 pillar appeared and mirrored Irfan Khan's bazi chart at age 49 - as illustrated in point (a) in image. As in the case of "Fu Yin", it is indicating a possible of sad event waiting to happen. When an unfavourable element or time is encountered in the next 10 years, it would trigger an event.

In 2018, the earth dog year arrived as highlighted in point (b) - a strong earth year. Being a strong metal day master, more earth as explained would mean health issue. This is the trigger that cause his bazi to worsen during this "Fu Yin" luck pillar. Through this analysis, we can gather that there is strong odds of unfortunate event manifesting from this illness.

During then, he announced on the social media of his illness where he had a tumor in March 2018.

In 2020, a "Fan Yin" situation now arise in Irfan Khan's chart after his illness.  This can be denote through arrival of the 庚子 year clashing into the luck pillar and year pillar of 丙午 - illustrated in pt (d). The top half of 丙 fire attacking 庚 metal and bottom half of 子 water attacking 午 fire. This forms the pillar of 天克地冲, not a good formation to have. 

​I believe the "Fan Yin" clash together within the "Fu Yin" luck pillar was the last straw and creates alot of instability with negative influence.  When a year pillar suffers a clash, it also meant bodily harm. This was shown by a "Fan Yin" clash with his luck pillar too. Sadly, the news of his passing was reported in 2020 at his prime age of just 53.

The "she" we are talking about is an iconic Hollywood actress whom achieve fame in 1990 in “Ghost” the movie. She subsequently starred in various movies in the 90s. In 1996, she became the highest paid actress with $12.5M to star in Striptease which was unprecedented then.

She is Demi Moore and through her birthdate, I present to you some interesting coincidence. (Believe it or not..)
 
Demi Moore is born on 11 Nov 1962. She is a 癸 water born (highlighted in turquoise box below) in a winter water month of 亥. As always, the day master forms one of the focus of reading. Although we do not know her hour of birth, it is safe to say she is a strong water based on her chart drawn. (Her hour pillar in chart is estimated)

She is presently 57 and is in the 乙巳 pillar (age 51 pillar) – a good phase of her life. In fact, those highlighted in red are luck pillars that are highly possibly her good years.

From her childhood days to now
The blue box denotes her childhood and formative years from 1 to 21 years old (the small numbers on top of luck pillar denotes her age). 

a. Childhood (Highlighted in blue box):
She has shared of her unhappy childhood and negative influence from her mother. As she is a strong water, the metal luck she goes through would cause more issues.
So how is metal link to her family? Metal represents her mother since metal produces (think “give birth”) water. It was reported that her mother accepted money from a man and with her knowledge, raped her at home. (something that was well documented online) This is an instance of harm when there is a imbalance.
This happened during her age of 15 when she just cross into 酉 metal luck which is another metal appearing in her luck pillar.

 
b. Health Issues (Highlighted in blue box)
Health wise, it was reported that she suffered from kidney dysfunction and lazy eye issue. In Chinese Metaphysics, the 5 elements (五行) represents various organs. Kidney is represented by water element. Eye represented by wood.
 
How does the metal years she went through affect her health? I mentioned earlier that metal is not favourable for her. With the strong metal luck in her earlier years, this brought about imbalance of water as metal produces more water. Too much water causes her wood to decay and rot too. Arrival of metal luck also attacks wood. This was thus reflected in her health where she reportedly had to overcome kidney disease and had eye operation during young.

Fire was badly needed to keep her warm and dry but is lacking –  yes, this also implied money issues represented by fire. She reportedly need to relocate more than 30 times due to her job changes by parent.

​c. Career (Highlighted in red box)
 Demi Moore went through money luck and did well in her career during the 90s:

1. a. From 1990 to 1991, though it falls during the 戊申 pillar which was supposed to be not favourable, she has managed to do well. This was due to 1990 being a (午) Horse year which is fire - She hit the jackpot when she starred in movie, Ghost. 
2. The favourable 丁未 luck pillar governs from 1993 to 2003. If you break the 10 years into 2 halves, 丁 would govern from 1993 to 1997.  未 would be from 1998 to 2003 which is less favourable. She starred in several films where she was well paid in with the record breaking US$12.5M in Striptease (1996) and other successful movies in G.I. Jane (1997).
3. From 1998 onwards, the start of 未 Earth luck (Yellow box) comes in which was a less favourable phase. During this period of time, her career was quiet. She devoted herself into motherhood and retreated from films.
4. 2003, the start of her 丙午 luck pillar money luck again. She came back into movies starring in Charlie’s Angel. 

All in all, she has went through good luck pillars till date – her nett worth can easily be found online. This is due to the Fire pillars (her money luck) she has went through as highlighted. Of course, this is also due to Fire was favourable to her.

That said, it does not mean anyone going through money luck period would mean big bucks. If money luck is unfavourable for you, you would stand to lose money. Her next unfavourable times would come during age 71, why? Make a guess by checking out the earlier luck pillar image what element is coming up during age 71...
