​Anyone who enjoys the range of Marvel movies would have been sadden by the demise of Stan Lee.  His real name was Stanley Martin Lieber and uses the pseudonym Stan Lee.

I read up on some of his enduring life story and decided to write up a few things stood out which links to his bazi (born 28 Dec 1922, hour unknown and random input in chart):

1. He started his journey into drawing comics since 1940s! Most of his jobs were on writing from obituaries, training films to comics.
2. He got married since he was 25 and has been in the relationship since.
3. Receiving recognition and rising to bigger fame
4. His passing on was due to pneumonia
 
1. His career: His thoughts (output) is the key!
Drawing comics since 1940s which means he was just around 20! Besides this, he actually also held roles such as editor and various writing roles in the army and also illustrator.
Where is the link to his bazi? As you can see in the chart below, he is born a (Geng) metal day master representing him. He is born in winter month with the various water you can see circled in his chart under year and month. Water actually represent his thinking, why? In bazi study of the 5 elements, metal produce water which in this case is the "output". If you condense it, this represents his thoughts. As such, this was actually one of his main bazi profiling and would mean that this person’s creation/thought/writing are his main skills and traits – all outputs from the metal which is himself.

2. Marriage: The key is in the fire
For Mr Lieber, being a metal day master, spouse element is represented by wood element. As there is no wood in his bazi chart, it is a question how he got and stayed married for over 69 years!

He met his wife (Joan Clayton Boocock) while he was still dating someone else. Interestingly he was about to proposed to his date then. Meeting Joan, he changed his mind and decided Joan was otherwise a better choice. He married her subsequently when he was 25. Although there was no wood in his bazi chart, he encountered the wood luck in his 23-33 year old luck pillar. At a marriageable age, he got married at age 25.

On top of that, he stayed married all these years. My opinion of the key in his chart was the fire in his spouse palace (circled in Green). Mr Lieber was born during the winter where its very “cold”. Sitting in his spouse palace is a fire (午). This shows that this fire helps to warm him during the cold winter he was born in. The (午) fire in this scenario is helpful to the daymaster (Mr Lieber). Therefore, this points to the spouse being helpful to him and is a usually a good sign for marriage. This explains possibly how he enjoyed a good marriage with such longevity.

3. ​Fame and striking it even bigger
Although he has written comics for a lengthy period of time, he had already reached his creative peak during the 1960s. From the mid-90s, he has started to pick up several accolades and awards. This coincide with when he was at age 73 when he started to enter into his metal luck (庚申).

What was interesting is Ironman the movie was launched in 2008. This was when Mr Lieber was in his next metal luck (辛酉) in his chart which was his favourable element starting from 2005. Since Ironman and several of the Marvel movies from Captain America to The Avengers, his creation of Marvel comics reached another peak worldwide.

4. Health - Too much water and weak metal = Pneumonia

Mr Lieber’s cause of death as shared was link to pneumonia. How can we link this to his chart? He is born a weak day master of metal as said. This metal is in winter with water surrounding him thus making this metal (representing him) weak.

He also just entered a new luck pillar of 壬戌 which is water earth period a less favourable period. The day he passed on was 12 November, the pig (亥) month which is water again. So you notice its all water during this current period surrounding metal in his chart.

Metal represents the lungs in bazi studies which is one area of weakness in his health and can be prone to issue. The current heavy water period surrounding metal (lungs) is similar to pneumonia which is fluid in lungs. What may not help this situation in real life is, the fire representing the wife is also no longer around (Joan passed on in 2017). This meant in real life his ‘fire’ is no longer around to take care of him and warm him.

As many mourn his passing on, all would hope that he is left for and rest in a better place. His many creations that has brought joy to the world would not be forgotten from young to old.
