In this new year, the year of the rooster will commence on 3 Feb. Below would be the stars that would set influence on the different sector of your home. How would each sector fare and are there areas you should look out for in your home?

2: Two Black Star 二黑 (North West) 
The Star of Sickness visits the North West sector this year. Do avoid major works in this area which would trigger this star causing problems. Should your main door be facing this sector, be sure to enhance your health too with better diet this year. Be conservative as personal luck maybe affected. 

6: Six White Star 六白 (North) 
In 2017, the Six White Star arrives at the North sector. This brings excellent luck for the occupiers and there is potential of getting a helping hand in their career. Other than that, this star is known to bring windfall luck especially if your main door lays in this sector. Enhance your luck this year by activating this sector!

4: Four Green Star 四绿 (North East) 
Do you have any children residing in the North East sector room in your house? If yes, congratulations! This year, the sector enjoys good education luck and will be able to enjoy smooth academic luck this year. Singles staying in this sector will also enjoy better romance luck of finding their partner. Couples will also enjoy better relationship. You may also consider activating this sector for better luck.

3: Three Green Star 三碧 (West) 
A star of conflict and best to avoid works and major activity in this area of house. Misunderstanding can happen and for any works required in this sector, it would be best to select a suitable date to avoid issues. 

1: One White Star 一白 (Center)
This lucky water star occupies the middle of the flying star chart in 2017 and promises to enhance luck for occupants especially with those with bedrooms in the middle of home. 

8: Eight White Star 八白 (East) 
The prosperity star arrives in the East. Although this lucky star sits in the East which is promising, this happens to be the same sector which sits the Year Breaker (岁破). As such, much as there may be good things happening, it would be mixed a year with mixed fortune.   

5: Five Yellow Star 五黄 (South) 
Homes or those that has the main door facing this direction will have to take extra precaution. Do avoid any form of renovation and keep this area. The best cure is to keep the area quiet and thus avoiding activating this negative star. 
Should there be any form of renovation required, it would be most advisable to select a good date to negate any negativity.

7: Seven Red Star 七赤 (South West) 
The Grand Duke (Tai Sui, 太岁) sits in this direction of South West which coupled with untimely Seven Red star would cause issues. It would be strongly recommended to stay conservative and be wary of robberies and physical harm especially if your main door sits in this facing. 
Should there be any form of renovation required, it would be most advisable to select a good date to negate and avoid any negativity.


9: Nine Purple Star 九紫 (South East) 
This year ensues homes in this sector in the South East direction to enjoy excellent luck and success. Eldest daughter in the family would benefit from this year’s good luck in this direction especially if their bedroom is located in this sector. Those looking for recognition in career would also be benefit greatly from this lucky star!
