Cesarean date selection, would it be valid?

​During a recent consultation, I was post a question on effects of date selection for the birth of baby. The case in point is if the baby’s date of birth is ‘artificial’ and pre-selected, then wouldn’t every baby be able to avoid the dates that are least preferred?
 
My simple explanation and opinion is even if the baby is given the selected date and time, it still depends on other factors. Much as we pre-select, there are other influencing factors that can affect. If the baby is destined to not be born in the given time, things can still happen. (No available appointment, any emergencies occurrence etc). I personally have encountered the situation of that the gynae was asked to attend to an emergency case but thankfully, back in time to deliver the baby. As such, to some extent, there is still the heaven’s blessing needed.
 
So lastly, here’s wishing to a smooth delivery to the parents and the expected arrival of a bundle of joy!
