Those buying a (new) home would find this familiar and relate to this.
Typically, once you have decide on an interested condo project or new flat, you’ll drop by to see the show flat. With the buzz and excitement, you are charmed by how your new potential house would look like. You then decide to shortlist to the few units you are interested in. If you are know a bit about fengshui, you might have checked your own lucky direction. Fast forward, you pay the deposit and you await for TOP.
During renovation and over time, you decided to engage a fengshui master to assess your unit. That’s when various flaws of the unit are pointed out or which you may not have notice during all the excitement.
If we have a chance to rewind, what could you have done to make the difference?Check the luck destiny of the house first before you buy!
What? House also have destiny luck just like a person?
Yes, that’s right.
House Destiny (宅运)
What is this, you ask?
Each house when built has its own luck and this would have an influence and impact the new home owners staying there. If I were to summarize, it forms 3 areas - time factor, external and internal aspect. For example, houses built now during this period are period 8 (2004-2023) and from 2024 it would be in period 9.
Different period, the stars are aligned in a different way. Importantly, there are 24 different birth charts in each period. In laymans terms, this is where the good stars and bad stars are in the house. Throw in each different house with its different layout and facing, you would have even more differences.
Following that, external form of the unit is required. Are there expressway? How are the blocks or buildings like surrounding your unit? Do you have a pool facing unit (not necessary a good thing)? The corridors and lobby just outside your unit. Just to state a few areas when to consider.
Internal of your unit, most importantly are the 3 areas - main door, kitchen stove and your bedroom. Among the three things, the main door being the most important.
Combining these factors , you can get a good assessment of the place if the house has good luck. If you also notice, there is no need for any birth dates of buyer. This is because such evaluation is purely on the luck of the house destiny - aka if this is a good house to buy or not. Birth dates of owners are only needed subsequently when a feng shui audit of house is done where solutions need to be applied for purpose of cures or luck enhancement. To also highlight, checking of which direction favors you during a new house purchase is not the right practise nor needed to decide if the house has good destiny luck.
So why do we bother to go through all these to get a good unit?

In essence, this means the home influences the health, wealth and relationship matters. For units with bad stars in the vital positions such as main door, stove or main bedroom, it can easily affect owners' health, wealth or relationship. Likewise, should the stars align in all the right place, then this would be a "A grade" unit where owners will thrive.
Though there are no 'perfect' home, taking care of the 3 areas as highlighted is crucial when getting a unit. You would be far better off buying a home with no need for cures than one that needs cure or remedies.
Buying a home is ultimately a big ticket item where mostly one would stay for long term. As such, it would be prudent to ensure the house at the least does not cause any issue or better still, enhance the luck of the owner.
