Mr A - Navigating his career without authority stars

​Following is a person (name Mr A) where I received an enquiry on suitability of career track.
This is following my recent post on how a person can thrive based on his bazi and his career to pursue. I pick this profile and a summary of my reading to share as this person has no authority star. Does this mean the end?
 
Let’s look at the chart.

Mr A's bazi chart

Personality
Mr A is born in the year of dog and with his day master is metal (庚). In his bazi chart, 庚metal is used as the reference as this represents him. What can we tell from just this day master in this chart?

At first glance, you can tell that he is a strong day master. Being born in autumn, which is the month of metal. He is also surrounded by resources star earth which creates him and with one water (壬) as the output star. This explains that the person has a certain level of intelligence in him and likely to enjoy contents/conversations that stimulate his mind and thoughts. He also possess a strong personality and belief of his own. He is also someone who adopts well to training and pick up skills fast if given the opportunity.

Next, he is a character that will challenge the rules. This also means he may test the water with the authorities, his boss or the norm. This is due to his overall strong chart and lack of authority star. He also requires certain autonomy and freedom in his work and does not work well in a mirco-managed environment.

Question is, how should one derive the career path if he is born with such a chart? And with no career stars (fire), does this spell the end to one’s career? What should we derive from his chart in action and job choice?
 
 
Chart Imbalance
As there is imbalance in his bazi chart, due to the overly strong metal, it would be beneficial to have water and wood elements to exhaust his metal energy. He should avoid more metal, fire and earth elements.

In bazi studies, metal gives birth to water and metal is used to conquer wood. Both elements can be used to exhaust the metal energy and thus improve the metal energy imbalance.
Meeting more metal, earth and fire elements or energy will cause further distress to the chart.

Education or books industry under wood element

Career Path – Industry, Responsibilties, Function 
Given that this person is strong in metal and earth, it ‘ll best fit him if he works in other industry not related to such. Think civil service or real estate.. these would not suit him.

As highlighted, water and wood industry are favourable to him. This means he would be suited to work in industries such as education, publication, books, medicine, design (wood) and shipping, logistics (water). The favourable industries would also be of a higher affinity to him and he would have a better chance to achieve success as compared to the unfavourable industries.

He would also work well in a smaller team. This works the same if he is in a managing position. He does not enjoy huge responsibilities and certainly not one with many subordinates reporting to him. He also faces various competition from his peers at work and it would be to his benefit in a smaller team.

Alternatively, he may also wish to pursue a freelance career or be in a sole proprietorship. This would also be a good option as he possesses wealth element and would also encounter good wealth luck in his mid-40s.

With strong metal and the 壬water in the year chart, you can tell that this man has a lot of ideas. However, he would find it a trouble to execute his ideas at times as he may lack the discipline to execute it at times. As such, this is a important area to note in his job.

He also possesses other skills where he is able to present and talk well. It would be good to explore this other skill sets and hone his talents. Though this is something he may not find it most comfortable at first as he has a introvert side to himself.

Jobs suitable: Emcee, sales, marketing, training and service industry. These jobs makes use of his ability to carry himself and ideas generating positions.
 
Luck in coming years
The man is currently at age 36 and has just moved into his water earth luck (癸丑). During this period of time, he faces smooth luck as water is his favourable element. He is likely to face unhappiness or turbulence in his career during later stage as the earth serves to imbalance his life situation further at around age 40. For now, should he wish to explore job changes, this is something he can think about from 2019 onwards. This is due to the water years ahead in the pig and rat year which are also favourable for him.

Chart Overview
Mr A. possesses a good chart where he is able to face good luck during his peak year. If anything, he has to note of his development area to enhance his discipline - ability to follow through on his plans to pull things through as planned. Notably between 35 to 65 years of age (circled in blue) where he comes into water and wood luck pillars in 癸丑, 甲寅 and 乙卯. These are important periods of life and where one can use to maximize each potential. These luck pillars also meant that he would be happy through these periods as it helps to improve his imbalance chart.
